Is IECSC Las Vegas a live, in person event this year?
Yes, IECSC Las Vegas 2021 will be a live tradeshow and conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 20-21, 2021. The 2020 event was cancelled due to Covid-19 but the 2021 event will be a live event.
Recent regulation on gatherings in Las Vegas, Nevada state that as of May 1, 2021 directives on gatherings will transition to local authority, which will include tradeshows.
Will there be a virtual option for IECSC Las Vegas 2021?
Yes, we are also hosting a virtual event for IECSC Las Vegas, which will be held on June 23, 2021. Stay tuned for more information about this virtual event!
How can you guarantee the health & safety of participants?
The number one priority at IECSC Las Vegas is the health & safety of all participants and our team has been working in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention Center on how to maintain a safe and secure trade show environment.
IECSC Las Vegas will be a safe and controlled environment where exhibitors, attendees, and speakers can interact, conduct meetings, and form meaningful relationships. As we move towards opening day on June 20, 2021, we want you to know we are taking every step available to create a safe and secure show experience.
Onsite safety measures will be implemented from the moment you step into the Las Vegas Convention Center, including but not limited to:
- Mandatory masks and temperature checks
- Hands-free registration and badging
- Each participant (attendee/exhibitor/speaker/press/etc.) must sign a liability waiver that states:
- I will not attend IECSC Las Vegas 2021 if I am experiencing any symptom of illness such as a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change to sense of smell or taste
- I will not attend IECSC Las Vegas 2021 if I have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 in the previous 14 days
- I will not attend IECSC Las Vegas 2021 if I have been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 in the previous 14 days
- I will follow public health authority recommended guidelines as much as possible and limit my exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 in the 14 days period before participating in the event.
- Traffic flow patterns and widened or one-way aisles on expo floor
- Spaced seating in conference rooms
- Touchless hand sanitizer
- Handshake free interactions
- Increased sanitation of high-traffic areas
- Propped open doors
- Appointed and trained personnel who will be responsible for ensuring social distancing is adhered to
Together with the Las Vegas Convention Center and adhering to strict CDC guidelines, we are also working closely with our vendors to continue to follow a rigorous safety regimen when interacting with our community.
Do I have to be vaccinated in order to attend?
Attendees do not have to be vaccinated in order to attend IECSC Las Vegas 2021.
Will Rapid Testing be available or required on-site?
Rapid testing will not be required or available on-site during IECSC Las Vegas 2021. After carefully examining the rapid testing process and taking advice from other events that have offered this service as well as data regarding the accuracy of the testing process, it was deemed to be inappropriate to offer this service at this year’s event.
I am an exhibitor and moved my participation from 2020 to 2021– what do I need to do?
Your exhibit and/or sponsorship program has been moved from 2020 to 2021 and remains the same program you originally purchased. The exhibit and/or sponsorship deliverables that are part of your program will be delivered as outlined in your agreement.

Will the expo hall layout be the same in 2021?
The exhibits will be in the same halls (Central Halls 3&4) as in 2020 and we have contacted each exhibitor regarding their booth location in 2021. In some cases a very slightly different booth position has been necessary and has been communicated, but we are available to discuss your current location if you have any questions. Please contact your sales representative (listed above).
What type of companies exhibit at the International Esthetics, Cosmetic & Spa Conference?
All companies exhibiting sell or distribute products or services to spas/salons. The following are examples of the types of companies that will be seen at IECSC:

- Microdermabrasion Product/Machine
- Equipment & Supply
- Spa Design
- Spa/Salon Computer Programming
Who attends the conferences?
Salon & Spa Owners and Managers, Estheticians, Makeup Artists, Skin Care Specialists, Instructors/Students, Distributors, Massage Therapists, Medical Estheticians, Plastic Surgeons, Wellness Practitioners, Cosmetologists.
Is the public invited to participate in the conference?
No, this is a professional tradeshow only and is not beneficial to anyone not involved in the spa industry. However, anyone interested in this industry is more than welcome to call and get more information.
Do you have to bring your license to the show?
Not all states license their estheticians or salon/spa professionals, so we do not require any ID at the door. Some form of professional identification is suggested for networking and business transaction information. Questex, however only advertises to the professionals in the spa industry..
Can I bring a roller bag to the show?
No, we do not allow roller bags on the show floor. Please leave your roller bags at the bag check. If you have a medical condition which requires you to use a roller bag, please bring an official medical note with you and bring the note to the Information Booth for validation. The Information Booth is located in the Grand Concourse Lobby adjacent to the entrance to the bag check.
Is there anything else I should know about the show?
Registering for IECSC Las Vegas implies consent to use your image in future promotional materials and media coverage. No one under the age of 15 is allowed in the exhibit hall or in the classrooms, including infants and strollers. Roller bags are not allowed on the show floor.
